From a reader perspective, this is not really a great news, but it has been really a hard work for me to entirely rewrite the engine of this website.

Previously I used an external blog engine as storage, an RSS library to read the content and asp.net routing to publish the content.

The new release is based on Asp.net MVC and does not depend on any external service. As a matter of facts I implemented:

• DDD based model
• Entity Framework 4.1 (Code-First) based data layer
• CBA (Claim Based Authorization based on Windows Identity Foundation – WIF) for security stuff
• Implemented all the Metaweblog, Blogger, Wordpress and Moveable API
• Implemented the LiveWriter specific requirements
• Exposed the RSS services
• Instrumented to measure performances
• Exception/error trapping
• A number of other features not yet exposed
• WPF Administration front-end
